Leading Edge Technologies has been developing companion products for Pastel Partner 9 through to the current Sage Pastel 50c since 1993. For more than three decades, we have focused on extending and enhancing the capabilities of Sage Pastel for thousands of businesses across South Africa.
We were the first company to introduce a dedicated batch and serial tracking companion module long before Sage added their own serial tracking functionality. Today, we remain the only company offering full batch tracking facilities tightly integrated with Sage Pastel.
In 2009, we developed Bank Manager as a fully integrated module inside Sage Pastel. Sage later created their own version, but our original product set the standard for automated bank statement processing.
We also built a specialised module for the copier industry to manage monthly contracts and generate automated billing based on meter readings. It remains the most cost‑effective solution for copier companies needing reliable contract and billing management.
Alongside the billing module, we developed a jobcard system to record copier faults, toner issues, and service requests in line with customer service agreements. These tools have grown into a comprehensive operational suite used by many service‑based businesses.
Over the years, our companion products have expanded in both variety and sophistication. Today, we can link Sage Pastel data to the cloud, allowing you to upload or download information in the exact format you require — securely, reliably, and on demand.
